Sada is urgently seeking funding and logistical support for a five-year safe haven residency and scholarship program for 3-4 at-risk art students from Baghdad, Iraq.

Some of our most promising students are facing grave risk if they stay in Baghdad today. The young artists we have nominated for this program are artists we have worked with over the years and who have already developed substantial work. It is critical that their work is able to continue to develop in an environment that allows for their safety, continued education, and artistic exploration.

Your donation will support placement for students in higher education programs, as well as identification and facilitation of scholarship and artist residency opportunities. A not for profit project, we have been working with artists aged 18-35 for the past four years, providing educational and artistic programming to connect artists with critical information and production possibilities.

Sada is an independent not for profit project that with no religious or political affiliations. Fiscally sponsored by ArteEast, a 501(c) (3) based in NYC, your donation is tax deductible.
